DESCRIPTION
A very common issue with the Nissan SR and RB Series engines is the over-oiling of the cylinder head. This is such an excessive problem that it pushes out of the valve covers, into the PCV system, into catch cans if you have them...which then cause a slew of other issues like oil in your charge piping and of course oil all over your engine bay. We designed this product to adapt the existing valve cover ports of the SR20DET and RB25DET engines to 10AN to easily route your own catch can hoses.Â
There are ports on the hot side of the SR20DET and top of RB25DET valve covers that will need to be removed with a flat head/pliers, and add our Billet 6061 aluminum 10AN Valve Cover Adapter, anodized signature Chase Bays Semi-Gloss Black of course. It is secured using exact tapered tolerances as a press fit installation - this is usually aided by freezing our 10AN Adapter overnight before installation.Â
