Link G5 x Chase Bays Electronics Package for EZ30 / EZ36 into 86 / BRZ / ZN6

SKU: CB-EZ30-LINKG5CAN

$3,999.99

DESCRIPTION

After a year of hard work and testing, we're ready to release our EZ30 / EZ36 into ZN6 / 86 / BRZ Engine Swap Kit! This is if you just want to piece together things and/or figure out the rest. We have already produced many of the components, however we want to pre-order 10 qty to confirm the hype is real and get some of the harder to produce items going. You will pay 60% now, then 40% when we're ready to ship. Once we hit 10 qty it will take 8 weeks to complete and ship the kit. We will have the count below this text with dates to show how many we've pre-sold.

Use discount code EZN6DEPOSIT to pull 40% off the total for the deposit, it cannot be used for any other product but this. IF YOU DON'T PAY THE REMAINDER FOR 2 WEEKS we'll go to the next in line and you'll lose your spot. $4,799.99 now and $3,200 when we're complete!

Pre-Orders as of 10/23:

Getting the EZ30 / EZ36 into the engine bay is one part of the swap. Making the engine, chassis, and electronics work together is where the details matter.

The Link G5 x Chase Bays Electronics Package brings together the engine management, wiring integration, and sensors required for our EZ30R / EZ36 swap system. We worked directly with Link to adapt their GT86 / BRZ / FR-S G5 Plug-In ECU for six cylinder operation, then developed our harness adapter to connect the EZ engine wiring to the ZN6 chassis.

The result is standalone engine control, factory dash integration, and the data needed to tune and monitor your engine properly. We handled the development on our own car, from initial startup through dyno tuning and track testing, so you can build on that experience.

All five components in this package MUST be installed and used together for the Chase Bays EZ-to-ZN6 electronics system to function as intended. The ECU conversion, harness adapter, and sensor configuration are designed around one another. These are required parts of our swap solution.

What’s Included & Why

Link G5 ECU Plug-In — GT86 / Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S
The brain of the swap. We internally configure the G5 for six-cylinder operation while retaining its connection to the factory ZN6 ECU plugs and integration with the factory dash. It provides control of fueling, ignition, and the engine functions needed to get the most from your EZ30R or EZ36. A base calibration is included as a starting point; final tuning must be completed for your specific engine and setup.

Link CAN Lambda Kit — CANLAM
Measures exhaust oxygen content and sends wideband lambda data to the ECU over CAN. This gives your tuner the feedback needed to evaluate the air/fuel mixture and enables closed-loop fueling corrections when configured. Accurate mixture data is essential to properly setting up and monitoring the engine.

Link Intake Air Temperature Sensor — IAT
Our engine management setup uses MAP and intake air temperature rather than the donor engine’s original MAF arrangement. This sensor tells the ECU how hot the incoming air is, allowing the calibration to account for changing air temperature when calculating fueling and applying temperature corrections.

Bosch Motorsport Combined Oil Temperature / Pressure Sensor + Adapter
Two critical measurements in one compact sensor. Oil pressure and temperature data let you see what is happening inside the engine and allow your tuner to configure ECU protection strategies for unsafe conditions. The included adapter provides the mounting solution for the sensor.

Chase Bays EZ to ZN6 Wiring Harness Adapter
The connection that brings the package together. Our adapter connects the factory EZ engine harness to the ZN6 chassis wiring and adds connections for oil pressure, oil temperature, and intake air temperature, along with provision for a future fuel pressure sensor.

One Coordinated System

The harness connects the engine to the chassis. The converted G5 controls the six-cylinder engine. The sensors supply the feedback needed for fueling, monitoring, and configured engine protections. Every component has a job, and our system requires all of them.

Install the complete package, follow our swap instructions, and have the calibration verified and tuned before hard driving. The supplied base calibration is a starting point, not a finished tune.

Built from two decades of Chase Bays Motorsport and product development experience, with the same goal behind every part we develop: simplify the installation, make it serviceable, and build a car you can confidently enjoy.
