The Chase Bays Brake Line Relocation for 89-05 Mazda Miata MX-5 NA | NB with OE Master Cylinder (OEMC) is designed for enthusiasts who want to eliminate engine bay clutter and improve braking performance by;

• Relocating the brake lines in a much more practical way. (aka Brake Line Tuck or Tucked Brake Lines)
• Replacing the factory proportioning valve / block with our Adjustable Bias Valve
• Deleting ABS, if applicable

The OEM brake hard lines are relocated and replaced and with -3AN stainless steel braided, Teflon PTFE lined, black PVC coated lines. We use the best components in the industry and we pressure test every line we assemble. We guarantee a leak free start up if this product is installed correctly. The OEM brake hard lines are relocated and replaced and with -3AN stainless steel braided, Teflon PTFE lined, black PVC coated lines. We have designed the lines to route in the best path possible. Low on the firewall, behind steering column, under frame rail…however we find is the best look while remaining easy to install. Plus, of course, a safe distance from high heat and/or moving objects. ALWAYS install and secure lines to keep them 4” or more inches away from manifolds and downpipes.

Chase Bays uses only the best components. ALL Hose and Hose Ends are BMRS aka Brown and Miller Racing. This is the best Hose/Hose Ends in the world, the same components seen on NASCAR and Indy Car. All the Fitting Adapters are designed and manufactured by Chase Bays to be chassis specific for perfect leak free installs. We pressure test every line we assemble and guarantee a leak free installation if this product is installed correctly.

This Brake Line Relocation is '
inBay' meaning it keeps all the lines in the engine bay and mounts the Adjustable Bias Valve to a master cylinder bolt. We have designed the lines to route in the best path possible. Low on the firewall, behind steering column, under frame rail…however we find is the best look while remaining easy to install. Plus, of course, a safe distance from high heat and/or moving objects.

The Front Driver line in this kit includes a section of Chase Bays Firesleeve due to it's proximity to the header. The Front Passenger Line is routed behind the engine and underneath the 'shelf' of the bay. Both Front Lines connect to the existing Caliper Brake Lines - if you need those as well, Click HERE for a link to them! The Rear Hardline connection is from the Chase Bays Bias Valve OUT port to the M10 Hardline that attached to the OE proportioning valve.

The Miata OEMC has 3 outlet ports on non-ABS equipped Miata's and 2 ports on NB ABS models from 99-05, but the lines route the same as far as their respective end connections. The key differences to installing the ABS Brake Line Relocation will be routing the 3AN line to the rear hardline connection from driver to passenger side of the bay, and using our L-Banjo on the single outlet used for both Front Driver and Passenger lines. However, please confirm your vehicle's current OEMC and rear brake hardline connection location before ordering!

Legend:
OEMC - Original Equipment (or Stock) Master Cylinder
BBE - Brake Booster Eliminator
PTFE - Polyetratluoroethylene aka Teflon
Proportioning Valve & Bias Valve - The component that alters the difference in front and rear pressure. In most cases, the front needs more. Almost all of our Brake Line Relocations include an Adjustable Bias Valve.
ABS - Anti-Lock Brake System. Sometimes needed, sometimes not. How you determine this is up to you but if you have any questions we can provide insight.
