The Chase Bays Brake Line Relocation for 92-00 Honda Civic and 94-01 Integra with Brake Booster Eliminator (BBE) is designed for enthusiasts who want to eliminate engine bay clutter and improve braking performance by;
• Relocating the brake lines in a much more practical way. (aka Brake Line Tuck or Tucked Brake Lines)
• Replacing the factory proportioning valve / block with our Adjustable Bias Valve.
• Deleting ABS, if applicable
• Compensating for a different master cylinder setup (IE: Brake Booster Eliminator)
**BRAKE BOOSTER ELIMINATOR (BBE) NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS PURCHASE** Click here to link to the Honda BBE.
The OEM brake hard lines are relocated and replaced and with -3AN stainless steel braided, Teflon PTFE lined, black PVC coated lines. We use the best components in the industry and we pressure test every line we assemble. We guarantee a leak free start up if this product is installed correctly. This kit is sold with inBay or inInterior options. The inBay keeps all the lines in the engine bay and mounts the Adjustable Bias Valve to a master cylinder bolt. We have designed the lines to route in the best path possible. Low on the firewall, behind steering column, under frame rail…however we find is the best look while remaining easy to install. Plus of course, a safe distance from high heat and/or moving objects.
The inInterior kit got a big redesign April 2018! The inInterior kit relocates the lines and Adjustable Bias Valve on the interior side of the firewall. Starting in the engine bay, we now have a CNC bent and flared stainless steel hardline. On the other side of this (inside the cabin) is a 3 way fitting to go to front right, front left, and the Adjustable Bias Valve. Very simple routing. This completely replaces the stock proportioning valve and is needed for good braking performance when eliminating the booster. It is mounted right next to your shifter for easy adjustments. (Any brand making Brake Lines for Brake Booster Delete that keeps the stock proportioning valve needs to track test their products)
Another big change is NO MORE FLARING on inInterior kits! We run new lines from the Bias Valve to go directly to the rear Fenderwell lines. So you can eliminate the rear hard lines for better aesthetics in engine bay and weight savings. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for all the installed photos.
The Brake Line Relocation replaces all of the engine bay hard lines up to the lines in the fenderwell. It does not include the fenderwell to caliper lines. Those are available separately here.
*applicable to inBay only* The front to rear line is adapted in a unique but necessary way. There are 2 hard lines that run to the rear of the chassis. To adapt the rear lines to AN, we supply "tube nut" and "tube sleeve" adapters. The factory hard lines are cut low on the firewall, reamed, and the supplied tube nut and tube sleeve are slid onto the hard lines. The hard lines are then flared to 37º degrees using a PROPER 37º FLARE TOOL (link below). Then our clever supplied "F Fitting" will thread into the 2 tube nut and sleeve adapters to make 2 lines into 1, which will then run to the Bias Valve OUT section.
OEMC - Original Equipment (or Stock) Master Cylinder
BBE - Brake Booster Eliminator
PTFE - Polyetratluoroethylene aka Teflon
Proportioning Valve & Bias Valve - The component that alters the difference in front and rear pressure. In most cases, the front needs more. Almost all of our Brake Line Relocations include an Adjustable Bias Valve.
ABS - Anti-Lock Brake System. Sometimes needed, sometimes not. How you determine this is up to you but if you have any questions we can provide insight.
